PUPPY LESSONS
PAWSITIVE PUPS: EMBARKING ON NEWADVENTURES
Unlike adult dogs, puppies may be flooded with social stimuli. We take this opportunity to quickly socialize pups with people and desensitize them to all potentially frightening stimuli. We further capitalize on this narrow opportunity window by teaching off-leash and on-leash work.
We also help you arrange your space to make it best for the puppy to learn and feel safe.
Outdoor training is also available.

Level 1 Fundamental Requests with Non-Aggressive Behaviours
Level 1 Behaviours
- Pulling on a Leash
- Jumping on People
- Door Manners
- Separation Anxiety
- Not coming on request (recall issues)
- Counter Surfing
- Fundamental Requests such as sit, lay, stand, go-to, come
- PLUS many other unwanted behaviours
Level 2 PROBLEMATIC BEHAVIOURS - Aggression, Anxiety & Reactivity
- Lunging towards other dogs while on leash
- Resource Guarding / Possession Aggression is directed toward a person and/or animal when the dog feels threatened that the person or animal will take away valued resources, usually food and toys.
- Control-related aggression towards you or other people in your household
- Fear and/or Anxiety-Related Aggression - Aggression directed toward a person and/or dog
- Territorial Aggression - Aggression directed toward a person and/or animal that enters or approaches the dog's perceived territory, which is usually your home or property
- Social -Conflict Aggression towards another dog in the household - Aggression typically directed toward a familiar person and/or animal which is motivated by internal conflict and displayed in contexts of social interactions
- Play Aggression - Playing turns into aggression. This can be seen through body language, such as growling & snarling
